As Jane walked down the streets of New Orleans taking in the sights, she wandered into a shady courtyard. She was glad of the relief from the everlasting humid heat but stopped short at the sight of the Voodoo Emporium sign. Magic was all nonsense, of course, the domain of charlatan moneymakers, but this establishment appeared well-kept and even intriguing. She'd never had her fortune told, thought she'd heard it was fun. "Hello?" called Jane, stepping inside.

The boker turned his head from where he had been stashing away a bit of ingredients. At the sight of the young woman, amethyst eyes glinted and moving quickly, he stepped up to the woman’s side with an easy, charming smile. “Welcome then, madam, what can I do ya for?”
